Frequently Asked Questions

Who can nominate?

Only active BCME Biz members can submit nominations. Nominations must be for fellow community members — self-nominations are not permitted.

Who can be nominated?

Any active BCME Biz member can be nominated in any category. The awards recognise impact rather than job title, so a florist can be a Community Champion and a photographer can be Connector of the Year.

Can I nominate myself?

No. Self-nominations are not accepted. These awards are about recognising others within the community.

How does voting work?

Voting is restricted to eligible active BCME Biz members. Each verified member receives one ballot and may vote in as many or as few categories as they choose. Vote totals remain private until winners are announced.

Is voting open to the public?

No. Voting is community-only and not open to the general public. Only verified active BCME Biz members can vote.

What is the Founder Recognition Award?

The BCME Biz Founder Recognition Award is a special award selected by the Founder of Bride Club ME Business. It is not open for nominations or community voting.

Can someone win more than one category?

Yes. A member can be nominated and recognised in multiple categories if their contributions span different areas of impact.

Will vote totals be published?

No. Vote totals remain private and are visible only to authorised BCME administrators. There are no public leaderboards or live vote counts.
